Super Spellers

We did fun spelling this afternoon with our long a spelling lists. 

Some ways to spell the long a sound are: 'ay', 'ai', and 'a_e'! 

Here are some examples showing what we did today. 

Super Swimmers!

Wow! Rimu Toru did a fabulous job alongside the other Year 3 and 4s at Swimming Sports on Wednesday. We went to Cannons Creek Pool and it was a wonderful day.

Congratulations to everybody who participated, and especially those kids who got a placing!

Bugs.... Yucky or Cool?!

We think some pretty different things about bugs - some of us love them, and some of us hate them!

I wonder if any of our opinions will change after we go to visit the BugLab?!

We hate bugs! They're gross!

We LOVE bugs! They're awesome!

We don't really like bugs....they're a bit yucky...

We think bugs are "okay"!

Go Sophie!

Sophie got a Golden Ticket and was one of the lucky iceblock winners... Good job, Sophie!

Remember if you want to get a Golden Ticket this week the whanau leaders are looking for people who are including others.
